We have learned much since Sept 11, 2001 about preparedness. Medlantic professionals will review disaster protocols, make recommendations regarding needed onsite resources including medical supplies, evacuation plans and review emergency response protocols. Drug Testing

Disability and Workers Compensation Case Management
Disability and workers compensation cost are not always a necessary cost of doing business. There are as many opinions regarding the appropriate length of an employee’s disability time-out-of-work, as there are physicians. One employee who suffers from low back pain never misses a day of work; another may be out of work for months or longer. When you need to contact a physician Medlantic will perform a Physician-to-Physician Call to identify what barriers the employee may have to returning to work and explain to the physician what if any work place concerns or accommodations that may be necessary for the employee. All Medlantic staff are trained to perform case management that is compliant with federal laws including the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), American’s with Disability Act (ADA), and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) to assure privacy and fairness to your employees and to legally protect your company. Epidemiology
Sometimes workplace environmental risk can be hard to measure and harder yet to understand. Fear and misperception of risk can ruin employee management relationships where no risk may exist. Careful industrial hygiene measurements that references current science may not be enough to assuage concerns. When a company wishes to understand whether risk is real or not – as in the case of a cancer cluster or other out break of illness within a community – it may be necessary for them to conduct their own scientific investigations.
